Zetes stacks one glass globe on top of another and holds them with a band of metal.
Two spherical glass shades, one above the other, clamped by a metal band and mounted on a travertine backplate that keeps the pitted texture of the quarried stone. Lit, the glass reads as two soft points and the stone stays matte behind them — smooth against rough, which is the whole argument the piece makes. The bulbs are G9, so LED or Edison filament both go in. Travertine forms over geological time through processes nobody directed, so the backplate on yours is the only one of its kind.
One size and one finish, so this comes down to the wall. Two globes stacked want height more than width — the flat run beside a bed, a stretch of hallway, the wall alongside a doorway.
