Daphne is a handful of tulips opened against the ceiling.
Each shade is white glass drawn into the shape of an open bloom, set on a painted metal frame that hangs from an adjustable chain. The glass is dense rather than clear, so it softens the bulb into something you can sit under at dinner instead of a bright point overhead. The frame is the color decision: matcha green, which is earthy and fresh rather than loud, or a creamy white. The sockets are the standard E26 size, so bulbs are the easiest thing in the house to replace.
Five heads is the size for a breakfast nook or a round table where four people eat. Six covers a full dining table without crowding what is on it. Eight belongs in an open living room or a tall entry, where there is volume to fill and the fixture is expected to hold the middle of the room.
