Kleodora is a pleated linen shade on beech, the kind of lamp that was in the room before you were.
The shade is linen, folded into narrow pleats, on a frame of beech and metal. Pleats do something a flat drum shade cannot: they break the light into a run of soft vertical bands instead of one even wall of glare. The beech is left with its grain showing, so the frame reads warm rather than structural. And it plugs in — no electrician, no ceiling, just a cord and a switch you can find with a foot.
