Boreas hangs a hand-cut cone of stone off a slim black arm.
A round walnut-wood backplate holds a slim black metal arm, and the arm carries a cone shade carved from natural travertine. The cone drops a soft pool underneath it while the porous stone glows quietly along its own flank — two kinds of light out of one fixture. Its socket is a standard E27 and the bulb is not included; a 2700K warm-white LED gives the warmest result through the stone, and it dims with a compatible bulb and dimmer.
It comes as one fixture with nothing to weigh up. The downward pool makes it a reading light before it is a room light, which is why it belongs by a bed, over a chair, or at the head of a passage. Because the backplate is real walnut, the grain and tone shift piece to piece — the photograph shows a representative sample and not the exact one you will get.
