Tethys draws a ring on the wall and fills it with warm light.
The frame is round, built up in layers of travertine with metal detailing between them. A G9 bulb sits behind it, so an LED or an Edison filament will both do the job, and a warm one suits the yellow stone. The layering is what makes the halo — the light comes off the ring rather than out of a point, which is a quieter thing to live with on a wall. Travertine forms through geological change nobody supervised, so the layers on yours run the way they ran in the ground.
Two heights, at the same width. The shorter one sits neatly beside a bed or a doorway, where the ring is the only thing that needs to register. The taller runs further down the wall and suits a corridor or a stairwell, where the fixture is read from across the room rather than up close. A pair of the taller flanking a mirror does more than one of anything.
