Polyhymnia is wood with glass set into the middle of it.
Two materials, cut and finished, with a G9 socket rated to 5W sitting behind the glass. A bulb is included by default — worth knowing, though the maker is clear that the supplied one will not dim, so fitting a dimmable G9 yourself is the route to that. It wires into a junction box rather than reaching for a socket, so plan it in before the wall is painted.
Wood color or walnut: the same piece at two depths of tone. The paler of them keeps a room feeling open and does not argue with white paint. Walnut goes darker and reads as furniture rather than fitting, which earns it a hallway that already has wood in it, or any room where the light should look like it was always there.
