Maira is a glowing orb resting on a low iron base.
Iron, PE and an imitation leather cord. PE glows across its whole surface instead of showing you where the diode is, and the iron base is kept deliberately low under it. No plug, no wall switch: USB charges it, a fingertip turns it on, so it can sit on a dinner table one evening and a shelf the next. Three temperatures live in the one unit, which means the same lamp goes warm for a meal and cool when you are hunting for keys.
Brown is fixed in all three; what changes is the shade beside it. Brown with white is the brightest and the easiest to place — a hall table, a nightstand. Brown with light gray softens it another notch and suits a room already built from neutrals. Brown with dark gray is the darkest of the three, and it suits a laid table where the point is glow, not lamplight.
