Okypete is a raven that has agreed to hold your light.
Cast in resin with metal fittings. Black or white are the two finishes, and the shade over the bulb is clear rather than frosted. It is sold facing left or right, which matters more than it sounds — buy one of each and they face one another across a doorway. Power arrives by flex and plug, so nothing needs an electrician.
Black is the fairy-tale reading and the one that looks like a raven should. White turns the same shape into something lighter and less gothic — better against dark paint, and better for a nursery. Then settle the direction: left, right, or one of each so they face off.
