Eurynome hangs a dome of quarried stone off a black arm and calls it finished.
A hand-textured travertine dome sits in a walnut wood socket, carried on a matte black arm that reaches out from a walnut backplate. The arm is what makes it useful: the light arrives from off the wall rather than flat against it, so it falls where you are instead of behind you. The socket is a common E26 or E27, and a frosted bulb gives the softest result. Every dome is cut from natural stone, so no two read the same across a run.
Eleven shade profiles share one arm and one backplate, and that is the real reason to look here — you can put the same fixture in three rooms and have it look considered rather than repeated. The broader, flatter domes push light down onto a nightstand or a desk. The deeper, narrower ones keep the glow near the wall and suit a hall or a stair. One profile in the set is tall where all the others are broad, for a strip of wall too narrow for anything else.
