Hemera is a half circle of walnut drawn across a face of glowing stone.
Yellow travertine, dark walnut and an acrylic diffuser. The LED is integrated, so the source itself never shows — what you see is a lit white face with a wood line cut across it. The travertine sits around it, and that is what keeps a flush fixture this wide from reading as a ceiling panel. Power scales with diameter, so the wider one is a brighter room and not merely a bigger circle.
Two widths and two versions of the same warm light. The narrower suits a bedroom or a hallway; the wider belongs over a dining table or in an entry where the ceiling is the first thing anyone looks at. As for the light: one version is fixed warm, the other is warm and dims on a Triac wall dimmer, which is worth having anywhere you eat.

The 18.9 inch runs about 42W and the 24.4 inch about 52W, both as a built-in LED. The wider one lights a bigger room rather than simply covering more ceiling.

Only if you choose the dimmable version. For that one we recommend a Triac dimmer switch for the best results. The other version is fixed warm and does not dim.

The shape is. The travertine is natural, so the veining is different on every piece, and the walnut varies with the grain. It is rated IP20, so keep it out of a bathroom.
