Aithousa hangs a disc of alabaster below a brass plate and lights it from above.
A brass canopy on the ceiling, a disc of natural alabaster suspended just under it, and an LED panel between them throwing light down through the stone and back up onto the ceiling. The gap is the whole design: the disc reads as a lit object floating below the ceiling rather than a fixture bolted onto it. Wattage climbs with diameter, so a wider disc genuinely lights a bigger room instead of just covering more of it. The assembly is 2.6 inches deep at every size.
Four diameters, and the spec sheet is honest about each one: the smallest for a corridor, the next for an entry, the third for a bedroom or over a dining table, the widest for a living room or a main suite.

Choose the Triac dimmable version and it works with a standard wall dimmer. The other version is fixed warm. For a bedroom, take the dimmable one.
