Baukis sets pleated shades on a frame of brass, PVC and walnut.
The pleats are what you notice first. They break the surface into narrow folds, so each shade catches light along its length instead of reading as one flat cone - it is the detail that gives the fixture its slightly vintage character. Underneath, the build is brass, PVC and walnut, finished in white.
Warm white at 3000K, fixed. There is no color switching here, just a single evening temperature, which is why this belongs over a bed, a sofa or a dining table rather than a desk. Sockets are E27, the standard household size. It hangs on a 15.74-inch chain and is rated for 54 to 161 square feet.

The chain is short, so plan around it. At 15.74 inches the drop is shallow - fine under a standard eight-foot ceiling, wrong for a stairwell or a double-height room. The five-light adds four inches of width and about four and a half pounds; the three-light is the one for a bedroom.
