Eupompe is an iron cone leaning off a wooden backplate.
Wood, iron and metal, put together the way the original describes it: a wooden backplate, a stem bent up out of it, and a hand-made iron cone on the end. The socket is an E26 or E27 rated to 40W, so whatever bulb is already in your drawer will fit. An iron cone is opaque, so light travels only where the cone is pointed and nowhere else.
Two finishes, both built on the same wood. Wooden and black is the harder-edged pair and holds up against a dark wall or exposed brick. Wooden and white goes soft and Scandinavian — put it in a bedroom, a nursery, or a pale hallway and let the wood be the only warm thing on the wall.
