Speio is hand-blown glass strung along a line of light.
Each crystal glass piece is blown by hand and strung onto an inner light source, so no two lamps carry the same glass — the clusters are the point, and they are never quite repeated. The body and post are finished in black, which keeps the eye on the glass. An integrated LED sits behind the pieces and lights them in warm white, so the glass itself glows rather than throwing a hard beam; when it is on, a fine mist-like texture inside the glass shows through, part of the hand finish and not a flaw. It is plug-in with an inline push-button switch, so it goes wherever there is an outlet and needs no electrician.
Two heights, two places. The shorter one is a companion piece — it sits beside a sofa or an armchair and reads at seated eye level. The taller one is for a corner that needs something in it, or beside a bed where it can stand in for a table lamp and let the glass be seen from the door. Red is the bold one and warms up a neutral room on its own. White is quieter and lets the glow do the talking against a pale wall.
