Dike is a light you compose, one section at a time.
Each section is a shade of iron, metal and glass hung on its own adjustable cable, and the sections are networked through connecting cords and hubs rather than run as separate fittings. That is what makes it a single piece rather than a group of lights, and it is why no two installations end up alike. The base is a standard E14 candelabra, so the bulb is your choice — a warm Edison filament is what the series was drawn around, though LED filament bulbs work as well. Bulbs are not included. A ceiling canopy comes with it, and the whole thing hardwires and runs on AC 110–240V.
Start with the room and work back. One section on its own is enough beside a bed or over a reading chair. Above a dining table, two or three at staggered heights do the work of one large fixture and leave you room to change your mind later. In a stairwell or a double-height entry the biggest sections finally get the air they need — section G is the largest of them, and section J is the tall narrow one made for a drop between floors.
