Britomartis lies flat in the wall until a hand pulls it free.
Aluminum alloy and metal, set into the wall so it lies flush when it is folded away. A pull switches it on, a push switches it off — the fitting doubles as its own switch. It puts out 160 lumens of warm white at about 2W, which is reading-in-bed light rather than room light. It can go in either way up, so one part number covers both sides of the bed.
Two heights, each offered as a square or a cylinder, across five finishes. Matt black and nickel are the quiet pair. Copper and black-and-copper run warmer and read as chosen rather than fitted. Chrome is the brightest of them. Then dimming, which is a separate version at a higher price and calls for a Triac dimmer on the circuit; the ordinary rotary kind cannot run it.
